TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE
Long Island IT business needs experienced individual for technical support for mostly local businesses. In addition to excellent customer service skills, timeliness and reliability, the following talents are needed:
• Possess excellent written and verbal skills in English.
• Able to qualify customer issues and effectively summarize them for review by field techs.
• Comfortable familiarity with Windows XP, Microsoft Office, (Windows Small Business Server 2003/8 a plus)
and the ability to quickly come up to speed on apps such as Blackberry Manager, Quickbooks, and other common end-user applications.
• Can capably and quickly learn customer management software applications as well as our internal processes.
• Effective at setting reasonable expectations for customers and keeping techs and management updated.
• Excellent organizational and trafficking skills and the ability to follow instructions and communicate alternatives capably.
• Must have own reliable transportation for occasional field support and errand running.
You will be working in an upbeat, sometimes fast-paced, tightly integrated office team where everyone pulls their weight and contributes their share. A great attitude and work ethic are a must .
